RDS Setup - Switch from Per Device to Per User Licensing

Login to your assigned RDS server.

Open ‘Server Manager’, then navigate to ‘Remote Desktop Services’ (menu on the left-side), then selecting ‘Overview’.

You should now see the screen below. Drop-down the ‘Tasks’ menu, the select ‘Edit Deployment Properties’.

On the ‘Deployment Properties’ screen, select ‘RD Licencing’, then select ‘Per User’. This will take a few seconds to change over.

Once complete, select ‘OK’. At this point, I suggest rebooting the server. This should kick in and then done!
